Gwyneth Paltrow takes a shot at solving the holiday gift conundrum and offers a slew of recommendations and exclusive discounts on her site, GOOP.com. The actress gravitates toward personalized presents (“What better way to show someone your love?” she says), like Em Tanner’s melamine plates, which can be customized with cartoon portraits of your family members, and that Paltrow reveals “quickly became a colorful basic in my kitchen this year.” The one-of-a-kind framed prints she discovered while shopping at a toy store in Brooklyn, made to order with a figurine in your child’s likeness along with his or her name, also made her cut, along with L.L. Bean’s classic-preppy monogrammed canvas totes—“a must-have on all my trips,” declares Paltrow. And from her own aromatherapist (who also counts Cameron Diaz and Leonardo DiCaprio as clients), of whom the 37 year-old star says, “Every time I visit Dr. Sharon I leave feeling relaxed, bright and new,” there’s a kit comprised of scented candle and fragrant oil, which Paltrow suggests rubbing “on your wrists, behind your ears, and on your temples,” for de-stressing and pampering.
